Zhoplist is a simple shopping list app that helps you organize your purchases. We care about your privacy and this policy explains how we handle your information across our iOS, Android and web versions.
Shopping Lists Data: We store your shopping list items, including titles, descriptions, categories, priorities, and completion status on our servers to enable synchronization across devices.
Session Identifiers: We generate and store unique device IDs (automatically generated) or custom list codes (that you create) to keep your shopping lists separate from other users. These identifiers do not contain personal information.
Timestamps: We record when items are created and modified for proper synchronization.
Local Device Storage: We store certain data locally on your device, including:
The free version of Zhoplist displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To serve these ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process data such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, and ad-interaction information, as described in Google's policies.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS, before any tracking takes place, we present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asking for your permission to track. If you allow tracking, the advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used to deliver personalized ads. If you deny or do not respond, only non-personalized ads are shown and the IDFA is not used to track you.
You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings.
For details on how Google uses this data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google AdMob documentation.
Premium upgrade: If you purchase the in-app "Remove Ads" upgrade, advertising is disabled and the advertising SDK no longer requests ads.

Limited technical data (such as an advertising identifier and IP address) is shared with Google AdMob only to display ads in the free version, as described in the Advertising section above.
Zhoplist offers an optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive or store your payment-card details; we only receive confirmation that a purchase was completed so we can unlock the ad-free experience.
